Quality Control Laboratory

The laboratory inside the industrial complex carries out comprehensive quality control tests on all incoming raw materials — clinker, slag, limestone, and gypsum — as well as on finished cement products and packaging materials. Both physical and chemical tests are performed to ensure that every batch meets national and international quality standards.

Scope of Laboratory Tests

Raw Material Analysis:

Chemical composition tests for clinker, slag, limestone, and gypsum Moisture content measurement Particle size and gradation checks Visual inspection for contamination
or foreign material.
Description

Routine Cement Testing

Setting time (initial and final)
Fineness by Blaine air permeability method
Residue on 45-micron sieve (air jet sieve)
Normal consistency
Compressive strength at different curing stages (2, 7, and 28 days) according to ASTM and EN standards
Specific gravity and bulk density
Soundness and expansion
Loss on ignition for chemical consistency
Sulphate, chloride, and alkali content if required

Packing Material Checks:

Weight verification of empty and filled cement bags
Tear strength and bursting strength of bags
Inspection of bag sealing and stitching
Moisture protection checks (paper liner inspection)

🏗️📦

Finished Product Testing:

Random sampling of bagged cement
Visual checks for lumps or foreign particles
Field storage performance monitoring where applicable
